It has been nearly 25 years since Adam Priolo wrote his first novel. Since then, he has obtained two diplomas—one in Creative Writing and the other in Writing Stories for Children. In addition, he spent four years studying English Literature at Athabasca University in Alberta, Canada.
He is the author of 22 unpublished novels and three joke books. Most of which were written well before he began to educate himself.
One of the highlights of Adam’s journey was winning the R.L. Stine—AOL— Halloween Story Writing Contest of 2010. In doing so, he co-authored a short story with R.L. Stine, won ten signed Goosebumps books, and more importantly was afforded the opportunity to correspond with R.L. Stine through social media on a few different occasions.
His latest project: Tales of Brevity: A Study in Form is a collection of literary short stories in which he examines the finer details of story tense and point-of-view.
Today you can find him at his desk reworking some of those earlier novels.
The Pen is his first published book.
